Front Row Reward

Try placing (taping works best) a desired item (candy, school supplies, homework pass, etc) under the front seats of your classroom.

Then ask your students on an unexpecting day to reach under their desk to see if a reward awaits them.

The purpose of this activity is to reward those who occupy the front of the classroom.

This also works well at the start of the school year or semester.
