On March 29th, I wrote an article about the “Create Your Own Donut Contest” that Dunkin Donuts was sponsoring. Many of my students had a fun time submitting their creation.
It is now time to vote!
The names and stories behind each potential “new” donut are interesting and may actually lead to some educational discussion. The donuts “Economic Crunch” and “Frozen Assets” resulted in my Economics students asking questions about the economy and credit!
The last day to vote is May 27th and the winner will be announced on National Donut Day, June 5th. The end of the school year is often hectic and this fun, simple contest could be a nice break in your routine!
