I have senior baking and pastry students utilize what they learn about making candy and working with chocolate, by designing a candy bar. 

They have to design the wrapper, the product description, and an advertisement as well.  They must also plan expenses and determine the price.  The best candy bar idea wins a prize. 

They actually have to make the candy in order to prove it feasible.
