Teaching Experience (1996 - Present):    

  • Grade 12 Economics and Participation in Government at Thomas A. Edison High School, in Elmira Heights, New York (2002-2010). 

  • Grade 11 United States History and Government

  • Grade 10 Global Studies.

  • Other courses taught include Web Design, Sports Entertainment on Film, Business Law, Entertainment and Media. 

  • Business Communications at a local career college. 

Education:

  • The University of Charleston (W.V.) in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.   
    Two-time Academic All-America in Golf (1993, 1994).

  •  Elmira College (N.Y.) in 1999, with a Master of Science in Education.

  • New York State Teaching Certification in secondary Business and Social Studies (1996).

Highlights:

  • Teacher adviser in the New York State Mock Trial competition and at the Elmira College Ethics Bowl. 

  • Facilitated a Presidential debate between students on The Senior Notebook (2004), a local Sunday morning television show. 

  • Author of the book "Energize the High School Classroom" (Dec. 2008)
