Magazine Conversations 
 

I subscribe to teen magazines (ex. Sports Illustrated for Kids) and hang them in the front of the room when they arrive each month.

Students are welcome to borrow them before class, during studyhalls, etc.

The articles spark alot of conversation on pop culture and helps me keep up on what they care about.

For some students, these magazines are they only thing I can get them to read and talk about.  They can't wait for the new issues each month.
