When doing equations, problem solving or multi-step functions, often times I will have the students stand in a line with their homework (forming the line in different ways each time: last name, month born, etc.). They are split into groups.
I then have a group put one problem that was assigned to them on the whiteboard (or overhead). They put it on display and the other groups grade it. The grade received becomes their homework grade.
They can earn extra points by how they grade the other groups. |
