I ask fun questions each day just to get students writing!

A question I might ask is "How would the world be different if cows gave rootbeer instead of milk?"  Students enjoy writing and then sharing their thoughts. 

My goal is just to get them to enjoy writing!  Some students even come in with their own ideas that they want to see as the daily "fun" journal entry.
